In December, WVC returns to Judson Memorial Church to share seasonal joy with our West Village neighbors. Their trio of holiday events begins with Northern Lights, their holiday concert, and continues with their Messiah Sing (Thurs 12/18) and Village Caroling Walk (Sat 12/20), both events with five-decades of history, where you do the singing!

As the days grow shorter and winter approaches, this year’s holiday concert focuses on light—sparkling in the heavens, shimmering on the horizon, and glowing from the candles that are part of so many traditions. Northern Lights spans the centuries—from seventh-century chant to beloved traditional carols to contemporary works by living composers, including Ēriks Ešenvalds, Ola Gjeilo, Elaine Hagenberg, Cecilia McDowall, and Eric Whitacre.
