Over nine weeks this summer (thank you, August, for the bonus Monday!), some of the area's finest conductors will lead us in a collection of beloved choral masterpieces, including:
Our season opener on July 6th: Carl Orff's Carmina Burana, conducted by Phillip Cheah, freelance conductor and member of the Professional Choir of St. Luke In-the-Fields.
Maurice Duruflé's Requiem and Ubi Caritas on July 13th, conducted by the West Village Chorale's own Artistic Director and Conductor Colin Britt.
The singer-favorite Requiem (K. 626) of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart on July 20th, conducted by Michael Sheetz, Music Director, of The Greenwich Village Chamber Singers and Director of Choral and Voice Studies at Hunter College.

If you’re curious about choral singing and want to try it out, or are perhaps looking to experience new music, our Sings are for you! Or, if you’re a singer looking to meet other choral music lovers—or are simply longing to sing with other people—the Sings are a friendly, informal way to network and experience the joy of musical community.

All Sings will take place in our home at the historic (and air-conditioned) Judson Memorial Church, 243 Thompson Street (this is an accessible entrance). Returning singers should note that entrance is around the corner from Judson's main entrance on Washington Square South.
Scores for all pieces will be provided (or bring your own). Programs begin at 7:30 pm and include an intermission where you can chat with the conductor and other singers about the evening’s music.
Admission is $20 general / $15 student and can be purchased at the door. You can also save more than 25% with a season subscription for all nine sings at just $130 general / $90 student.
