Judson Book Group

Monthly WEDNESDAYS @ 6:30pm

Sept 17

The Judson Book Group will be discussing Olive Kitteridge  by Elizabeth Strout.

Elizabeth Strout binds together thirteen rich, luminous narratives into a book through the presence of one unforgettable character, Olive Kitteridge.  As the townspeople grapple with their problems, mild and dire, Olive, a retired schoolteacher, is brought to a deeper understanding of herself and her life-sometimes painfully, but always with ruthless honesty. Olive Kitteridge offers profound insights into the human condition-its conflicts, its tragedies and joys, and the endurance it requires.

If you plan to attend, be sure to contact Jane Treuhold for a Zoom invite.
