The Judson Book Group will be reading and discussing the non-fiction book, "How the Word is Passed" by Clint Smith.

This book explores how America confronts, hides and misrepresents its history of slavery through various landmarks, monuments and cultural sites.  The author begins in his hometown, New Orleans.  This book won several awards including the National Book Critics Circle Award for Nonfiction.
