Dearest Good Troublemakers of Judson,

I hope you're feeling uplifted by the many ways that our community and the larger new york city community -- and others, like that in Minneapolis -- continue to show us what it means to keep each other safe and care for each other concretely.

As part of that, I know many are worried about the increased risks that ICE's violent tactics and indiscriminate use of weapons presents, and this is a valid and urgent concern to face if you're doing rapid response and direct action! Minnesotans in particular are asking us to be prepared, in advance, for escalation of these tactics.

Myself and everyone in our medic networks have been receiving countless asks for updated trainings and skilled up community members -- not only for current street medics but for anyone on the ground who might be called upon to care for someone -- or manage your own chemical weapon response -- in a split second. You may not be able to do a full (22 hr) street medic training, but this will get you prepared when there's no time to find a medic, or these things are happening locally with only rapid response on call or bystanders... not at protests where medics and marshals are nearby. 

This is a *5 hr training* and we're prioritizing folks doing rapid response and direct action, but we can and will organize more -- this is a crew that deeply believes that all of us need to be community first aid trained in order to care for each other well in these and future times!
