Muslim Community Network‎ Earth Day at MCN: A Family Event on the Impact of Climate Change

Celebrate Earth Day with MCN!

Join Muslim Community Network and climate Researcher, Somayya Ali Ibrahim, on April 22nd for a fun and interactive workshop on the impact of climate change on our city. This is perfect for the whole family, so bring the little ones! In this workshop we will:

*Understand the impact of climate change on big cities like NYC.
*Share ideas and approaches to building cities that are resistant to climate change.
*Brainstorm ideas on how to make your city more “green”.
*Learn how to be Green rangers – pick up trash and recycle, encourage friends to eat healthy snacks, identify and care for trees and wildlife in your neighborhood.

Please bring an empty plastic yogurt container. We will be doing a fun planting activity that you can bring home with you!
