In the wake of Sept. 11, 2001, and in response to the rising tide of violence, YOKO ONO has created
Mend Piece for the World and introduced it in New York City at Judson Memorial Church.
This participation art work was realized in Barcelona and Cambridge, MA. It is scheduled to be presented in Berlin and other cities around the world.
The public was invited to witness and participate in the work.
Mend Piece for the World remained at Judson through December 2001.
