Center for Medical Consumers |
Founded in 1976, the Center for Medical Consumers is a
non-profit advocacy organization active in both statewide and national efforts to improve
the quality and availability of health care. The Center is committed to better informed
medical decision-making and maintains a free, publically accessible medical library at 237
Thompson Street in Greenwich Village. HealthFacts, their monthly newsletter makes
a critical evaluation of the latest studies and medical advice.
